Modern Technology for More Informed Dental Care
Our team continues to research and introduce modern dental technology to support accurate diagnosis, efficient treatment, and a more comfortable patient experience. With advanced imaging, digital scanning, and in-office milling systems, El Dorado Dental Center can gather detailed information, streamline many procedures, and help patients better understand their oral health and available treatment options. General Intraoral Camera
Using a small handheld device, an intraoral camera captures high-quality images of the teeth, gums, and other areas inside the mouth. The images appear on a nearby screen, allowing both the dental team and the patient to view oral health concerns more clearly.
Why It Is Used
- Provides a closer view of hard-to-see areas.
- Helps identify visible cracks, wear, cavities, and gum concerns.
- Creates a visual record for future comparison.
- Makes treatment recommendations easier to understand.
By showing patients exactly what the dental team sees, intraoral cameras can support clearer communication and more informed treatment decisions.
Digital X-Ray
Digital X-rays allow the dental team to examine areas beneath the surface of the teeth and gums that cannot be seen during a visual examination.
What Digital X-Rays Can Reveal
- Cavities between teeth.
- Infections near the tooth roots.
- Bone loss around the teeth.
- Impacted or developing teeth.
- Changes beneath fillings and crowns.
- Jawbone and surrounding structures.
Images are available within seconds and can be enlarged on a computer screen for closer evaluation. Digital X-rays also use less radiation than traditional film-based imaging and support efficient diagnosis and treatment planning.
General Air Filtration
Dental procedures can release small airborne particles and aerosols into the treatment environment. General air filtration systems are designed to help capture and reduce these particles as air circulates throughout the dental office.
How the System Supports the Practice
Cleaner Air
Helps reduce dust, aerosols, and other airborne particles within clinical and common areas.
Continuous Filtration
Operates throughout the day to support consistent indoor air quality.
Added Environmental Support
Works alongside surface cleaning, sterilization, and other infection prevention procedures.
Greater Comfort
Contributes to a fresher and more comfortable environment for patients and team members.
Air filtration is one part of a broader approach to maintaining a clean, welcoming, and well-managed dental setting.
